Declaring that we are a neighborhood brewery for all ages, races, genders and lovers isn't just something we just like to say. It's something we like to show in our actions, words and deeds. Here are a few ways we are connecting to our motto:
We pledge to give 1% of our net profits to a local nonprofit organization that fights against inequality. By involving our social media community, as well as patrons of the brewery, your voices will be heard on who is in need of some extra funds or perhaps an organization that is doing an amazing job at fighting the good fight.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines an ally as "one that is associated with another as a helper". Learning from this definition, we recognize that it is our responsibility to listen more than talk. Our staff will continually receive training on best practices to uplift people in the non-dominant culture and we will continue to learn about our privledge as cis, white business owners.
We buy + sell local snack products to support local businesses and of course, to enjoy the amazing goodness that Denver companies have to offer. Our current offerings are from Perky Jerky, Denver Chip Company and Oogies Popcorn.
Thanks to a small business loan from the Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF), we bought a canning line! Wild Goose will deliver our Gosling sometime early fall and we will sell cans directly from the brewery. Our can art will be created by a local artist who will financially benefit with each can sold.
